Before the crew arrives

Set these aside before we start
  • Important papers, IDs and photos
  • Jewelry, cash, keys and anything sentimental
  • Medications and needles. County household hazardous waste sites and pharmacy take-back kiosks accept them
  • Firearms and ammunition. Law enforcement can take them safely
Left-behind tenant belongings

California has specific notice rules before a landlord can dispose of belongings a tenant leaves behind. Check with an attorney or your local landlord association first. We can't give legal advice, but we can clear the space once it's yours to clear.

What to ask us about first

We'd rather tell you now than surprise you on the day. If something isn't listed here, send us a photo and we'll tell you straight.

Ask us first

  • Hoarding situations or homes that are very full. Send photos so we can plan the right amount of time.
  • Pianos, safes and hot tubs
  • Anything you are not sure you are allowed to dispose of, such as a tenant's belongings
  • Homes with limited access, stairs or gates

Not on our truck

  • Hazardous materials: paint, solvents, chemicals and fuel
  • Medical waste, needles and medications
  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Mold or biohazard cleanup. That is specialized work for a remediation company.

Pay for the space, not the item

Questions, answered

Can't find what you need? Call or text us and we'll help.

Can you clear a whole house in one day?

Often, depending on the size and how full it is. Photos help us plan. A bigger home may take more than one truckload, and we'll tell you that up front.

Do I need to be there?

Someone should be there at the start to confirm what stays. If you are out of the area, tell us when you book and we'll talk through the options.

Can you coordinate with a realtor or property manager?

Yes. Many cleanouts are arranged by family or agents who are out of town. Send photos and the address, and we'll sort out access with whoever has the keys.

Do you donate usable items?

We donate and recycle when possible. Tell us if there are pieces you hope will go to a good home.

What about the things I want to keep?

Set them aside in one room, or mark them with painter's tape. We'll leave those and clear everything else.

Do you clean after the cleanout?

We leave every property cleaner than we found it. A deep clean of carpets, windows and walls is a cleaning company's job, and we can't do that part.

Ready to get it gone?
